I have just come back from an amazing\u00a0 seminar and networking session and I wanted to\u00a0 remind you about these sessions and these forums\u00a0 that are out there for us.<\/p>\n
In the personal care industry, we do stay very lonely, especially if we are a one man band and we don’t have many staff around us. Which is great, we stay in our own lane and we’re doing our own thing.<\/p>\n
But as you know, there are times when we overthink things, we doubt ourselves, we procrastinate, we don’t get any further. And a lot of people don’t surround themselves, or don’t put into any kind of groups or platforms or embrace any zoom chats and conferences that are out their.<\/p>\n
I want to explain how important it is, even though all these people that are at these events and at these conferences\u00a0 are possibly competitors of yours. They can give so much and for me, it is just a big kick up the backside and not just with what you’re learning from the presenter or the host from other people too. We all need that to thrive and to keep us moving forward.<\/p>\n
So lean in and embrace all these platforms out there\u00a0 and\u00a0 these networking and conferences that you can go on with like-minded individuals, because it will give you the kick up the backside that you need.<\/p>\n
I have\u00a0 come back from this seminar and learned\u00a0 so much not just from the host, But\u00a0 from other people out there that are on a similar journey to me.. If you are talking to others that are a little bit ahead of you in terms of their journey and they’ve already launched, or they’ve already hit that milestone that you’re aiming to reach, you get that little bit of jealousy and that little bit of drive in you saying, “Oh, my goodness, they were where I was six months ago.”<\/p>\n
You will come back with a whole new flame under you, a whole new fire in your tummy that makes you want to push further.<\/p>\n
So don’t be scared to reach out and to join these networking groups and to go to these seminars and put yourself out their.<\/p>\n
