Hi, guys, want to talk to you about my top four money and time saving tips that I use within my business. Now, I think the beauty, hair and aesthetic business are quite old fashioned when it comes to using all these digital solutions and technologies out there to help enhance and streamline our business. So, I want to share with you my top four and what I like to use within my business, which saves me so much time, which in essence saves me money as well.

So, my number one is online booking system. If you don’t have an online booking system and you don’t take all your bookings through an online booking system, then you are missing a trick. And the reason being, online booking system is stream less, it enables you to take a deposit, so you will never get any more no shows and it can also get them into an email journey with you.

So, they are then on your database, you’re building up a database of clients on your email system, which you can use for automation, which I’ll get onto with one of my other top 4’s. So, an online booking system, this way you don’t have to message back and forth with your clients, it’s secured with the deposit and is in the diary. And they can also change it, and you don’t need a website to do this. I use Calendly, and they have their own landing page for this, so you don’t need your own website if you haven’t got one.

My second one is Google reviews. Now, we all know it’s very important to get high up on the rankings in terms of Google and to get Google reviews and have a full five-star rating is fantastic for the business. But we don’t tend to follow this through, and then when we do want to do it, we start messaging all our clients, can you leave us a review? Can you leave us this? And it takes so much time. If you put their email into a journey when they come with you, which can be linked with your bookings, then what will happen is they will get an automatic email sent to them, which will then enable them to go on and click the link and leave a review. And this all can be done with automation from that first initial booking through your online booking system.

My third one is consultations. Now, we all have to do consultations, the recent pandemic means we also have to do COVID consultations as well. Now, all this can be done via email. It can all be done, sent to them before they come to their appointment, they filled out the content at their own home, they’ve uploaded it, you view it before the appointment it is done. So, all my clients do an online consultation before they come for their treatment. If they have any problems, they reach out and connect with me and I would advise them, but this can be done and sent out to them without you having the time in the clinic to go through all that medical history that you need to go through for the procedure. So, that’s number three.

Number four is aftercare and follow-up. Now, a lot of treatments, they need to have certain aftercare sent to them and they also need reminders of their follow-up appointments. And we all know what it’s like, we all know that 12 months-time you have your top up on your eyebrows done. And 12 months-time comes around and before you know it it’s two years. Now, what if there was already a journey with you, an email journey with you where they would get that automatic reminder, say book in through this link below, you’re now due for your annual colour boost. Or if they get home after an appointment and in their inbox is their aftercare already sent to them right there in front of them. All of this is essential to keep your business running smoothly and efficiently. I am in love with embracing all these digital tools that are out there.

Some of them are free, some of them are very little cost, but all of this is going to free up your time for you to do the more high-ticket treatments and services within your business or to work on your business. So, it’s essential to embrace these new digital tools that we’ve got out there, because this is what will give all us more time to do what we want to do in our business.
